THE theme for the biggest event on Port Adelaide's off-field calendar has been revealed - this year the Power will be going...Carnaby Street.

Power Goes Carnaby Street is the name of the club's 2012 gala auction, when Port Adelaide's sponsors, supporters, players, coaches and staff come together to enjoy an evening of brilliant food, drinks and entertainment.

The theme was driven out of the epicentre of 1960s British rock and pop - Carnaby Street.

The London street was the fashion and music capital of the world during the 60s, with bands like The Beatles, Small Faces, The Who and Rolling Stones working, shopping and socialising in the area.

In 2012, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre will be transformed into our very own version of Carnaby Street - and we'd love you to join us on the night.
