Port Adelaide has welcomed the latest AFL fixture release which will see the club finish the regular season away after two more home games at Adelaide Oval.
Port Adelaide will start the next series of games with a Round 14 Saturday afternoon clash against Sydney at Adelaide Oval, followed by a Saturday night game against North Melbourne on the Gold Coast, a Saturday twilight matchup with Essendon at Adelaide Oval and culminating with a Round 18 away fixture against Collingwood.
Port Adelaide Executive General Manager Matthew Richardson says the club was pleased with the spacing of its games between Rounds 14 to 18, and that at least one of its games will feature on national free-to-air television.
“Having navigated a congested fixture block through the festival of footy, Ken and the team will be well placed to attack the back end of the season with the more traditional match spacing, with our turn for the bye after round 14,” Richardson said.
“We are pleased to have at least two more home games at Adelaide Oval and for our members and partners to have more chances to be there with us this season. The standalone match against North Melbourne in round 16 at Metricon Stadium on national free-to-air television is also another terrific reward for our partners.”
“Ticketing details for our remaining home games will be released to members next week.”
