KEY forward Charlie Dixon has been nominated for the Coates Hire AFL Goal of the Year for Round 14 after his classy finish against the Swans.
The Port Adelaide big man enjoyed a day out against Sydney, kicking four goals for the afternoon and playing a hand in several others, but he saved his best for last.
Dixon eluded his Swans opponent with agility that belies his 107kg frame as he won the ball in the pocket then twisted and turned to find space before nailing his kick from a tight angle.
It has been a busy year for Dixon, who has already been nominated for Goal of the Year for a similar effort in Round 11 and for Mark of the Year for his incredible one-handed pack mark in Round 10.
The other Round 14 nominees for Goal of the Year are Richmond's Dustin Martin and Demon Christian Petracca.
