PORT Adelaide has beaten its second-best week of membership sales in just one day, after renewals commenced on Friday.
And the huge selling rates are to reach new heights when 2015 membership packages go on sale to the general public on Monday.
Just shy of 1,800 renewals were processed when last season's members were given the chance to lock in their seats for 2015.
"It equates to our second biggest week ever, but in just one day," explained the club's general manager of consumer business Matthew Richardson.

Current expectations are that the majority of 2014 members will re-commit to Port Adelaide in both the AFL and SANFL on the back of posting the club's best ever membership tally last year.
Port Adelaide also broke the all-time AFL attendance record in South Australia twice, and saw a significant spike in its SANFL attendance figures.
With high demand for Port Adelaide game access, the club has introduced a new Wait List enabling members to purchase an 11-game General Admission season ticket and go onto a priority listing for reserved seats when they become available.
But with reserved seat availability dependent on the number of renewals in the next month, Richardson recommends new members or those wishing to upgrade to an allocated seat start by joining the Wait List from Monday.
"The Wait List is really important for those who want a reserved seat, so we recommend calling us from next Monday to buy a general admission membership and upgrade to the Wait List in the process," he said.
"To meet the high demand, we expect to release limited reserved seats in the Western Stand next week and will be made available to Essential Gold West Members."
Port Adelaide’s 2015 membership campaign slogan is ‘Bring the Noise’ and if Friday’s renewal opening is anything to go by, the club’s next season will be just as loud as its first at the redeveloped Adelaide Oval.
Membership staff stayed late to process as many renewals as possible, with phones on the club's 1300 GO PAFC hotline ringing non-stop throughout the day.
“It was a great day for renewals and our membership line was running hot all day,” says Richardson.
“We're expect similar demand when we open for all business on Monday, we’ve had record expressions of interest this year, and particularly from supporters in their mid-20s.
"We just want to thank all the renewing members for their patience on Friday, and we'll be contacting back those who we couldn't get to and registered for a call-back early next week."

With almost 1 in 20 members renewing on the first day, Port Adelaide looks likely to challenge the 60,000-member milestone in 2015.
It's certainly a target the club is committed to reaching.
“Memberships will be for sale on our dedicated weareportadelaide.com.au website, through our membership hotline and at The Port Club membership booth to everyone on Monday, and we're really excited about the prospects of more sell-out crowds next year," said Richardson.
"We’ll be aiming to crack the 60,000-member mark for sure, we especially know the huge number of night games and the even better game day experience is something really attractive to our supporters.
"Having at least five night blockbusters and three late-start twilight games also suits family membership-holders who have young kids who play sport on weekends."
