BEN Newton and Jarman Impey will bolster the Port Adelaide SANFL line-up this weekend when it takes on Norwood's League side in the second semi final at the Adelaide Oval.

Newton and Impey are emergencies for Port Adelaide's AFL team playing Richmond on Sunday afternoon, but will first play for the Magpies in the important semi final on Saturday.

Should the Magpies win, they will progress to the grand final to be played on the second-last weekend of September.

John Butcher (back) and Cam Hitchcock (ankle) will miss the game with injury, while Kane Mitchell has been promoted as the primary emergency for the Power on Sunday afternoon.

The Magpies also welcome back Campbell Heath from a long-term knee recovery, Anthony Biemans, Sam Gordon and Robbie Young to the final 23-man squad.

That team will be cut to the final 21 players on Saturday.

Action at the Adelaide Oval gets underway at 5:40pm. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 concession, $4 juniors aged 4-17, two adults and two juniors for $30 and Essential Power members admitted free.
