POWER backman Jackson Trengove has banded with teammates to raise over $10 thousand for the Childhood Cancer Association.

The CCA is Port Adelaide's official charity partner, and Trengove organised for Travis Boak, Chad Wingard, Hamish Hartlett, Alipate Carlile and Jarman Impey to wash cars for locals as a pre-Christmas fundraiser for the charity.

A total of $10,500 was raised at the car wash day at Mogas Netley.

Thanks to everyone who came and supported @childhoodcancr today we raised well over 10k for a fantastic charity. Special mention to Tom & Steve Kosmidis along with staff and to our boys amazing effort Proud to be apart of this great club and the things we are lucky enough to be able to do.. @chadwingard @travisboak10 @hharts8 @pateandjo @jarmanimpey

One amazing thing about our job is we are able to help out people who need it most. Today I was lucky enough to be able to hand over a cheque for $10,500 to @childhoodcancr thanks again to everyone who helped make this happen. Special mention must go to Tom Kosmidis and his staff with out his support none of this would have happened and the @pafc boys who helped make this work on the day your support and effort was massive @chadwingard @travisboak10 @hharts8 @pateandjo @jarmanimpey
