A host of new faces have been named to play their first game for Port Adelaide in the club’s Round 1 SANFL game against Norwood on Thursday night.

Named to make their debuts are SANFL contracted players Jake Westbrook, Jake Weidemann, Ethan Moore, Dylan Aldridge, Aryan Sareen, Miller Carter and Luke Surman.

Surman will be coming up against the Redlegs for the first time since coming over to Alberton.

He won the 2019 SANFL reserves premiership at Norwood, taking home the Bob Lee Medal as best afield playing primarily in the ruck.

AFL-listed players Taj Schofield, Dylan Williams and Ollie Lord have also been named to pull on the iconic prison bar guernsey for the first time.

The game at the Parade will get underway at 7:40pm on Thursday night.
