KEY Adelaide midfielder Rory Sloane will miss Sunday's Balfours Showdown XXXV after his team confirmed an eye injury to their young star.

Sloane, 23, has been ruled out of the match after being accidentally poked in the eye during last Saturday's game against Fremantle at Patersons Stadium, according to a statement from the Crows.

He is expected to miss the Crows' next two matches against Port and North Melbourne.

It comes on the back of official confirmation that the final Balfours Showdown at AAMI Stadium is a sell out.

Port Adelaide supporters will no longer be able to purchase public tickets to the game.

Both Port Adelaide and the Crows will confirm their initial 25-man squads on Thursday night.
