MIDFIELDER Tom Rockliff will be unavailable for Port Adelaide’s Round 4 match against Richmond, but was the only injury concern to emerge out of the weekend’s games.
Playing in the club’s SANFL season opener on Thursday night, the experienced onballer left the field in the last quarter after suffering a head knock.
The 31-year-old will need to follow the AFL’s revised concussion protocols, which include a mandatory minimum 12-day recovery period, before he can resume playing.
Defender Riley Bonner is recovering well following the hamstring tendon injury he suffered in Round 1, and will progress his running and training over the coming weeks.
Port Adelaide faces the Tigers at Adelaide Oval on Friday night from 7:20pm ACST.
It will name its team on Thursday evening at 5:50pm ACST.
Injury list
Riley Bonner – hamstring (4-6 weeks)
Tyson Goldsack – knee (4-6 weeks)
Jake Pasini – shoulder (11-12 weeks)
Tom Rockliff – concussion (1-2 weeks)
