RICHMOND is facing the prospect of facing the Power without Brownlow Medallist Dustin Martin after he was charged with striking Adam Kennedy of GWS in the second quarter of his side’s loss on Saturday afternoon.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Intentional Conduct with Medium Impact and High Contact.
The incident was classified as a two-match sanction but he has until Tuesday to decide whether to challenge the ban.
Martin has also been offered a fine for a separate striking charge on Giants midfielder Matt De Boer in the third quarter of the same game.
He can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.
