GREATER Western Sydney star Ryan Griffen said his young side weren't able to cope with the pressure of a vocal Port Adelaide crowd on Saturday.
The Adelaide Oval crowd of 33,281 was the Power's lowest for the season, but it sounded closer to 45,000 with a relentless wave of noise creating a cauldron for GWS.
ROUND 20: What we learned
The Power jumped the visitors kicking the first four goals of the game and Griffen said that was down to the Giants' inability to cope with the boisterous Port Adelaide crowd.
"We didn't start too well, but got back into the contest and couldn't quite get over the line," Griffen said on Tuesday.
"It's pretty hard over there, the atmosphere for Port Adelaide is unbelievable."

It's not often a crowd gets that sort of admiration from an opposition player, but star Adelaide midfielder Patrick Dangerfield had similar praise for the Port Adelaide crowd after Showdown 34 in 2013.
"One of the things that really struck me was the crowd, how loud the Port Adelaide crowd was," Dangerfield said on FIVEaa in April 2013.
"It was almost spooky when they were chanting Port Adelaide."
The Round 20 crowd was the eighth largest the Giants have ever played in front of and helped the Power storm home in the final quarter as the home side booted five goals to one.
Despite a disappointing season on-field, Port Adelaide has welcome 443,194 specators through the gates at Adelaide Oval in 2015, averaging 44,319 per game - the fourth highest home game average in the AFL behind Richmond, Collingwood and Adelaide.
The Power has also broken the 60,000 member mark for the first time in the club's history.
