BRING your scarf, wear your black, white and teal, and ready your voice, because Port Adelaide and its army of true believers will have a unique opportunity to show its passion to a national audience on Saturday night.

portadelaidefc.com.au reported on Channel Seven’s plan to sound-measure the noise generated at Saturday night’s massive blockbuster against Essendon, with the AFL broadcaster adamant Port Adelaide’s is the most vocal in the nation.

The decibel measurement will start pre-game from the moment the players run out to Rudimental’s Not Giving In at 7:00pm and continue through the entire game.

The run-out always generates one of the loudest and most supportive roars of the night, so a packed house on the seats in the Eastern, Riverbank and Western Stands, and an army standing on the hill, will go a long way to rivalling the 137.6 dBA registered by the world record-holding Seattle Seahawks crowd last year.

So too could other ‘loud points’ during the night, like the ever popular anthem played before the bounce – INXS’s Never Tear Us Apart.

That’s where scarves will be handy, with Channel Seven set to broadcast, for the first time, the crowd-wide participation in the song to its live national audience.

The decibel reader will be in full effect for the anthem, as well as throughout the game itself, including goal celebrations and, hopefully, a result in the Power’s favour at the final siren.

Ticket sales continue strongly in the lead up to the game and are pointing to another crowd in excess of 50,000.

Daily ticket sales are now limited to just a few standing room only tickets.

3-game memberships remain one of the best value options for game access to all three of Port Adelaide's remaining night blockbusters
, including Saturday’s clash with Essendon, against Sydney on Saturday 9 August, and a Friday night spectacular against Carlton in the Power’s final home-and-away game at the Adelaide Oval.

Western Stand guest passes are also still available with a valid Essential Power or AOSMA membership barcode.

With a sell-out game likely, all general admission daily ticket holders and members, including 3-game, country, interstate and Victorian members, and unreserved and standing-room only ticketholders, will still have access to the match, subject to capacity.

To avoid disappointment, the club’s member services team advises all general admission members and daily ticket holders arrive at the ground early.

Gates to the game open at 4:15pm.

With ticket sales progressing well in the lead up to the game, the club is rallying its supporters to again turn out in force as the Power looks to re-join the winners’ circle.

Reserved seat season ticket holders and Essential Power members who aren’t able to attend this game are encouraged to pass their ticket onto friends or family members so every available seat is taken on the night.

As with the record-breaking game with the Hawks earlier this year, you don't want to miss this match.

A vocal crowd rivalling the South Australian AFL record set when Port Adelaide hosted Hawthorn in Round 10 will also be aided by a traditionally high turnout from a local Essendon supporter base keen to see the Dons play at the Adelaide Oval for the first time.

It could be another exhilarating night for the Port Adelaide football community, and is certain to be another cracking game between the club and a big Victorian powerhouse.

Subject to capacity information
Members with unreserved seating/general admission membership packages to Adelaide Oval – including 11-Game General Admission, Country, 3-game, Victorian and Interstate members – have access to any home game subject to capacity. Whilst this does not guarantee a seat or entry into games, a minimum number of seats and standing room positions are always held for general admission member entry on game days however should this number be reached, no further general admission members will be able to enter the ground. To avoid disappointment we suggest that members arrive early to games. Alternatively, members can upgrade to a single-game reserved seat via Ticketek to guarantee their entry into a particular game (subject to availability, applicable upgrade charges will apply depending on category selected).
