WHILST not the first ‘Drogemuller’ to grace the turf at a Port Adelaide game, Ben Drogemuller is certainly the most recent!
Representing the Port Districts Football Club in Sunday’s Tyrepower Dash for Cash, Ben was a little on the nervous side prior to his big run.
However, after a solid warm up in the bowels of the great Adelaide Oval stadium, Ben tore down the track with a blistering run.
Unfortunately due to a headwind that Carl Lewis or even the great Usain Bolt may have struggled with, Ben just missed out on a top-three berth and a shot at grand final glory.
On the bright side though, like a brand-new set of shiny black ‘slicks’ from your nearest Tyrepower outlet, Ben cut a fine figure by managing to get his image up on the screen for all to see!
