THE fans have spoken, voting Travis Boak as the Power’s most valuable player against the Swans on Saturday.
After being held pretty quiet with only seven disposals in the first half, Boak broke loose in the second half, leading the Power to their 10-point win.
His second half dominance started with a goal in the first two minutes of the third term with a classy snap on the run.
The 32-year old finished the night with a team-high 29 disposals along with 15 contested possessions, eight tackles, six clearances, and five score involvements.
Earning the maximum five votes for Round 15, Boak leaps into second place of the Fans MG MVP Leaderboard.
Runner up in the vote was young midfielder Willem Drew.
Drew’s pressure around the ball was immense, particularly in the final term when the game was on the line.
The 22-year old finished the night with 22 disposals – 11 of them contested, eight tackles and eight clearances.
Rounding out the votes this week was Charlie Dixon (3rd), Ollie Wines (4th) and Scott Lycett (5th).
Port Adelaide now turns its attention to facing Hawthorn at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.
