In: Bonner, Ladhams, Woodcock

Out: Butters, Clurey, Motlop, Rozee

INJURY has forced Port Adelaide into three changes at selection, while Tom Clurey has also been omitted for Saturday night’s game against St Kilda.

Defender Riley Bonner returns to the side after a week in the SANFL while ruckman Peter Ladhams will play his first game for the side since the Round 14 win over Gold Coast.

Forward/midfielder Boyd Woodcock has also been selected for the first time since Round 13 after some solid showings at SANFL level.

Zak Butters, Steven Motlop and Connor Rozee come out of the side due to injury.

Butters sprained his medial collateral ligament in last week’s loss to Melbourne while Rozee will be rested because of ongoing knee soreness.

Motlop was unable to complete training on Thursday after hurting his left ankle in an innocuous incident during last week’s game.

Scans revealed he had a syndesmosis injury and he will have surgery in the coming days, keeping him sidelined for about a month.

Clurey has been named among the emergencies along with Xavier Duursma, Joel Garner and mid-year rookie draftee Jed McEntee – who would be making his AFL debut if called upon.

The medical substitute will be named from that group an hour before the game.

Any player not required at AFL level will be eligible to play at SANFL level for Port Adelaide against West Adelaide on Sunday afternoon.

Port Adelaide will face the Saints at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night from 7:25pm AEST / 6:55pm ACST
