Scott Lycett wrestles with Max King during Port's Round 6 win over St Kilda at Adelaide Oval.

PORT ADELAIDE’s Round 18 game against St Kilda tomorrow has been brought forward to allow the club to fly in and out of Melbourne on the same day.

Originally scheduled to be played at Marvel Stadium at 7:25pm local time, the game will instead be played at 1:45pm AEST at the same venue.

The AFL announced the change following the latest COVID-19 lockdown in Victoria, to limit the risk of any transmission but allow the competition to proceed.

Port Adelaide’s players and staff will now fly out of Adelaide on Saturday morning and return immediately after the game.

Under a directive by SA Health, they will be required to isolate for 48 hours after the game and then return a negative COVID-19 test before resuming their normal activities in the community.
