Key defender Brandon Zerk-Thatcher landed at Alberton ahead of the 2024 season, adding a valuable piece to Port Adelaide’s defensive stocks. Strong in the air and in the contest, Zerk-Thatcher enjoyed a strong first season at the club, working in tandem with Aliir Aliir to shut down some of the competition’s most dangerous key forwards. His season was recognised with a seventh place finish at the club’s Best & Fairest.
The native South Australian will aim to continue developing his defensive game in 2025 and making Port Adelaide’s backline his own.
