PORT ADELAIDE midfielder-forward Sam Powell-Pepper is unlikely to play in Saturday’s pre-season Showdown after suffering a minor hamstring strain.

Powell-Pepper sat out the second half of Friday’s practice game against Gold Coast after feeling some tightness in his left hamstring.

The 24-year-old is expected to be available for selection for the club’s Round 1 game against Brisbane.

Connor Rozee and Scott Lycett have both pulled up well after each suffering a rolled ankle in the Gold Coast game, and are expected to be available to take on the Crows at Richmond Oval in Saturday’s AAMI Community Series game.

That match gets underway from 3:40pm.
