Kane Farrell will not line up against the Bulldogs after entering the AFL’s health and safety protocols.

PORT ADELAIDE wingman/forward Kane Farrell has been ruled out of tonight’s meeting with the Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval.

Farrell entered the AFL’s health and safety protocols yesterday after feeling unwell and missing training.

His absence means Xavier Duursma comes into the selected 22 for the Friday night blockbuster, while Martin Frederick has been added to the list of emergencies.

Xavier Duursma comes into the starting 22 to replace Farrell.

The medical substitute will be named an hour before the 7pm first bounce from among the emergencies, which also include Ollie Lord, Lachie Jones and Jed McEntee.

Midfielders Sam Mayes and Jackson Mead have also entered the health and safety protocols and have been omitted from the side selected to face Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL at Alberton Oval on Saturday.
