IN: Aldridge, Sareen, Corcoran, Carter, Lord, Lycett
OUT: Fantasia, Roberts, Schofield, Hayes, Bergman
SCOTT LYCETT has been named to make his return to football among six changes for Port Adelaide’s SANFL side to face North Adelaide on Saturday.
The ruckman has not played since requiring surgery for a dislocated shoulder suffered in the Round 4 AFL game against Melbourne in April.
His inclusion is subject to him completing training on Friday but will be a welcome boost for a side which could lose crafty forward Orazio Fantasia, and young midfielders Miles Bergman and Taj Schofield to the AFL side.
Experienced ruckman Matthew Lobbe and young defender Kye Roberts go out of the team while ruckman Sam Hayes will be absent under the health and safety protocols.
As well as Lycett, AFL-listed forward Ollie Lord looks set to return after being a late withdrawal with hamstring tightness last week.
SANFL-listed players Dylan Aldridge, Aryan Sareen, Tom Corcoran and Miller Carter have also been included in the line-up.
Port Adelaide’s AFL side has not been finalised because of its game landing on Sunday but any AFL emergency not required could drop back to play for the Magpies.
Port Adelaide will wear a modified version of Lachie Jones’ special Indigenous guernsey for Saturday’s game at Prospect Oval, which is part of the SANFL’s Indigenous Round. First bounce is at 2:10pm.
