THE SANFL has agreed to postpone Port Adelaide's Round 12 SANFL game against North Adelaide at the request of the club following the passing of Phil Walsh.
Walsh was an assistant coach at Port Adelaide for 11 seasons and instrumental in the Power's first AFL premiership and the 2007 season that saw the club reach a second grand final.
He established strong relationships with many past and present Port players, including many of the Magpies line-up named to play against the Roosters at Prospect on Saturday.
Both Port Adelaide and the Adelaide Crows - where Walsh was senior coach in 2015 - requested the SANFL reschedule their matches this weekend.
The Magpies will now play the Roosters at Prospect, and the Crows will play South Adelaide during the split Round 17, on the weekend of Saturday 8-Sunday 9 August.
Clubs competing in remaining games will wear black armbands as a symbol of respect for Walsh.
Port Adelaide's Academy match against North has also been postponed.
AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan confirmed the remainder of AFL games will continue this week except for Sunday's scheduled Adelaide v Geelong match.
