Never Never Distilling Co. has signed on as the club’s official gin partner across its women's program, elevating Port Adelaide's AFLW game day experience for fans.

THE Port Adelaide Football Club is thrilled to announce that Never Never Distilling Co. has signed on as the club’s official gin partner across its AFLW team.

Never Never’s award winning and widely loved gin will elevate the AFLW home game experience at Alberton Oval with the Never Never Gin Marquee. It will also be represented across Port Adelaide’s mass reaching digital and social platforms and be featured as the gin of choice at the club’s redeveloped bar and restaurant, The Precinct.

Port Adelaide General Manager of Commercial and Partnerships, Brett Mathers, welcomed Never Never to the Port Adelaide family.

“We are delighted to have Never Never on board for our inaugural season in the AFLW” Mr. Mathers said.

“With Port Adelaide’s first home game at Alberton quickly approaching this Saturday, we’re very excited to share our exciting match day experience at Alberton Oval with our members and fans, and the Never Never Gin Marquee will be an important part of that experience. 

“The Never Never Gin Marquee will be stocked full of their world class gin offerings and is open to the public. It’s the perfect spot to watch our very first home game for the season so we’re confident it will be packed on game day and make a very memorable experience for our fans.

“There is a great synergy between both the Port Adelaide and Never Never brands that provides the perfect platform for a really beneficial partnership, and we are genuinely excited to bring that to life in our inaugural AFLW season”.

The Never Never Gin Marquee at Alberton Oval will be stocked with the South Australian distillery's world class gin offerings, open each AFLW match day.

Never Never Co-Founder and Brand Director, Sean Baxter echoed Mr. Mathers' sentiments. 

"Our brand was born in the west. Back in 2017 we first started out of 16 square metres of shed space in Royal Park, just a couple minutes down the road from the historic Alberton Oval. With a decent wind you basically could have kicked a torp into the carpark" Mr. Baxter said.

"When the opportunity was presented to work with the inaugural Port Adelaide women's team, we saw it as an exciting chance to support an incredible club with aspirations as big as ours. We invite anyone who's been part of our journey or enjoyed a Triple Juniper G&T to get down to Alberton this weekend for the historic first home game for the Port Adelaide AFLW side.

"As a brand, we set out to push the boundaries of what’s possible and shake up the global gin industry with our flavour innovation and a bold, fearless spirit. Now, we want to extend this attitude beyond the doors of our distillery and empower important communities like the AFLW to do the same.
