PORT ADELAIDE is officially back on the park and back on the big screen this week, with the club’s pre-season hitouts kicking off this Friday evening.

The Power are making the trek west for clashes against West Coast and Fremantle, with both matches to be live streamed on Kayo Sports and broadcast on Foxtel.

The club’s digital team will also be on the ground bringing you the latest from the venues as supporters get their first look at their team against outside competition in 2023.

Port’s first clash will be against the Eagles in an unofficial match simulation on Friday, February 24, with action kicking off at 4:40pm Perth time (7:10pm ACDT).

Terms of the unofficial matches do not need to follow standard AFL structure, and the two clubs have decided to play four 28-minute periods and two 20-minute periods with no time on. Port’s coaches are also likely to deploy more players than the standard 22 as they look to assess the wider playing group ahead of Round 1.

The second match sees Port travel to Fremantle on Thursday, March 2 with an official practice match under premiership season conditions to be played from 4:10pm local (6:40pm ACDT). Live scores and stats will also be available for this game through the club’s official app.

Teams for the match simulation against West Coast will be announced the day prior, with the Fremantle practice game teams to be released 5pm AEDT the day before.

Supporters wanting to take in the action but unable to attend, can take advantage of the club’s Power on Demand membership, which mixes a range of membership packages with a 12-month Kayo Basic Subscription. Click here for more details.
