Promising young midfielder Travis Boak has recovered from a groin injury and will line up against the Dockers on Sunday at AAMI Stadium.

Boak is one of six inclusions while Chad Cornes has been forced out because of knee and shoulder surgery and Brendon Lade and Adam Thomson have been omitted.

Here’s Port Adelaide General Manager – Football Operations Peter Rohde’s inside word on this week’s selection.

Chad is obviously out because of his surgery and Ladey also misses out with Fabian likely to replace him. Deluca was fantastic last week for Sturt and we want to have a bit more of a look at him before the end of the season. It will be a good challenge for him coming up against Sandilands.

Adam Thomson is a bit stiff, but Boak had been in great form before his injury so he comes straight back in.
