OUT: F Evans (AFL), T Dumont (AFL)
Alberton Oval will host its first SANFL game of the year this Saturday, with Port Adelaide set to take on Norwood.
The Magpies will be hoping to record a second-straight win, with the Redlegs yet to claim any points this season.
Port Adelaide claimed its first victory on Sunday, defeating West Adelaide in the annual Russell Ebert tribute match at Loxton Oval.
Yorke Peninsula’s Murphy Short has retained his position after collecting 18 touches in his senior SANFL debut, while Oliver Cheesman has been called into the side.
Midfielder Hugh Jackson will be aiming for another solid on-field performance, after he recorded 22 disposals and a goal against West Adelaide.
Eight players, including Francis Evans and Trent Dumont, have been named on the AFL interchange as part of an extended preliminary squad, with four emergencies to be identified in the final team announcement on Friday.
Emergencies that are not required on Sunday will be allowed to play in Saturday’s SANFL match.
The game gets under way at 2:30pm at Alberton Oval with gates open from 1pm. Game day details, including ticketing information, can be viewed here.
