LAST WEEK’s SUB: Mead

PORT ADELAIDE has named a 26-man squad for Sunday’s twilight game against Greater Western Sydney with Aliir Aliir, Lachie Jones and Jeremy Finlayson among those in line to return.

Aliir and Jones each missed last weekend’s trip to Geelong as they progressed through the AFL’s concussion protocols while Finlayson withdrew on the day of the game with illness.

Kane Farrell and Miles Bergman, who also withdrew through illness, have been included in the squad along with midfielder Quinton Narkle.

Narkle has played three AFL games since being recruited in the mid-season rookie draft, with his last coming as the tactical substitute in the Round 17 win over Gold Coast.

Last week’s substitute Jackson Mead and winger Riley Bonner have been omitted and named to play in the SANFL on Saturday against Glenelg.

Defender Trent McKenzie also goes out of the team after suffering a knee injury in the early stages of the game against the Cats.

The 22-man side to take on the Giants will be release after it is finalised on Friday afternoon.

Sunday’s game at Adelaide Oval gets underway at 4:10pm.
