At $100 each and available for purchase through the club, these tickets are available for individual sale and provide exceptional viewing from the ultra-premium third level of the Eastern Stand.
The club also has a limited number of Black Diamond category reserved seats available which include access to the pre-game function in the Cathedral Room and a one-hour food and beverage package, plus half time drinks for $190.
The release comes as Port Adelaide seeks to make Saturday night’s blockbuster between the Power and Hawks open to as many spectators as possible.
General manager – member services Matthew Richardson told portadelaidefc.com.au the release of these premium tickets is a rare opportunity the club wanted to make available to its supporters who do not have access to the game.
“This game is officially a public sell out, but we want to give the opportunity for people to take up these premium seats in the Eastern Stand and see the game,” Richardson said.
"We are expecting a 50,000-plus crowd, and in order to accommodate as many people as we can, we’ve changed the corporate seating arrangements in order to make these seats available on the mid-level of the Eastern Stand for this game.
“When you think about the potential to fill the Oval up with Port Adelaide supporters, this is an opportunity we couldn’t let slip, and we’re sure people will appreciate the chance to sit in this ultra-premium part of the Eastern Stand.”
The opportunity to obtain game access subject to capacity is still also available through purchasing a 3-game membership with the club.
Those memberships provide access to this and up to two other home games at the Adelaide Oval in 2014.
The club sold over 200 of these memberships since Tuesday, demonstrating the desire for people to get a chance at seeing Saturday night’s blockbuster under lights.
“Demand for this game has been massive with over 200 3-game memberships sold in the last 2 days alone," Richardson said.
“When you think about the potential to fill the Oval up with Port Adelaide supporters, this is an opportunity we couldn’t let slip, and we’re sure people will appreciate the chance to sit in this ultra-premium part of the Eastern Stand.”
