Port Adelaide defender Georgie Jaques has ruptured her ACL, shattering her hopes of a NAB AFLW debut in 2023.
The injury occurred during a training drill, with scans confirming the rupture over the weekend.
The 19-year-old is scheduled to undergo surgery later this week to reconstruct the ligament.
Laquoiya Cockatoo-Motlap has entered concussion protocols following a head knock during a match scrimmage on Saturday.
Imaging showed the young forward has also sustained a fractured cheekbone from the collision.
Tall defender Jasmine Simmons strained her calf during Sunday’s game against Hawthorn.
Simmons will be assessed throughout the week to determine if she is eligible for Round 10 selection.
Port Adelaide will name its team for Saturday’s match against GWS at 5:50pm ACDT on Thursday.
