PORT ADELAIDE forward Sam Powell-Pepper has been moved to the club’s inactive list for the remainder of the 2024 AFL season.

The 26-year-old ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in late April, during the club’s Round 7 win over St Kilda.

Powell-Pepper is now four weeks’ post-surgery and will stay involved with the playing squad as a valued member of the leadership group throughout his rehabilitation period.

The vacant list spot provides an opportunity for Port Adelaide to select a player in the AFL mid-season draft on Wednesday night, should the club choose to do so.
