PORT ADELAIDE forward Billy Frampton has been handed a three-match ban for engaging in rough conduct with Adelaide’s Patrick Wilson during Saturday’s 30-point win over the Crows.
Frampton can reduce the ban to two weeks with an early plea. The incident was assessed as high impact, high contact and careless conduct.
The towering forward booted six goals against the Crows in the SANFL and has 23 majors for the season, overtaking Tobin Cox as the Magpies’ leading goalkicker.
The 22-year-old will miss games against Glenelg and South Adelaide if he accepts the early guilty plea.
