Wines continued his unmatched start to the season for Port Adelaide by bagging six votes in the AFLCA Champion Player award. He now leads the overall race.
Byrne-Jones netted one vote from the Power's loss.
Rory Sloane took the perfect 10 from Ken Hinkley and Don Pyke, while fellow Crows Taylor Walker (8), Richard Douglas (3) and Kyle Hartigan (2) also polled.
Wines lead atop the Power's AFLCA leaderboard extends to 14 votes over Robbie Gray as the only man to poll in each of the Power's games this year.
