PORT ADELAIDE has applied for a grant with the Fund My Neighbourhood initiative - but we need YOUR help to secure it!

The grant would see significant upgrades to the Alberton Oval precinct, providing much better facilities for local community groups and better security while also improving the experience at Alberton for families and children.

If successful, the $150,000 would be put towards;

- Installation of new canteen facilities to assist local community and sporting groups with their fundraising
- A children’s playground to provide a family friendly experience when visiting the club and on game days
- Installation of security cameras and lighting to ensure Alberton Oval is a safe and secure venue for members, supporters and families

But the club is up against a number of other great community organisations in the Port Adelaide Enfield City Council area for the grant – and only your votes count towards the outcome!

Anyone located within 5km of Alberton Oval in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield is eligible to vote at www.fundmyneighbourhood.yoursay.sa.gov.au
