DOM CASSISI will still be assessed at training despite scans on his hamstring failing to reveal any significant injury today.

The veteran's history with hamstring problems this season means club medicos will continue to monitor the 30-year-old at training in the lead-up to selection.

It's all part of the club's 'no-risk' approach to injury management according to high performance manager Darren Burgess.

"The scans don't indicate anything serious for Dom," Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

"But we'll keep monitoring him at training considering the trouble he's had with hamstring issues this year."

Port Adelaide will announce its Round 21 team to play the Gold Coast Suns on Thursday night at 5:55pm (ACST).
