SAM GRAY'S date with destiny is here.
Gray will join Port Adelaide's senior ranks for 2016 when the Power's recruiting team elevate the pride of Rudall off the rookie list on Tuesday.
While his name won't be read out, his elevation is included among the compulsory minimum of three selections the Power must make at the NAB AFL Draft.
Gray has spent the last two seasons on the Power's second tier after originally being drafted from the club's SANFL operation, the Magpies.
DRAFT ORDER: Every club, every pick
The 23-year-old has played 17 games in two seasons and his incredible finish to the 2015 campaign - where he drew career-first Brownlow votes - has been rewarded with the senior promotion.
Port Adelaide's rookie list will look very different in 2016.
Nathan Krakouer will remain on the rookie list and will likely be joined by Kane Mitchell, who the Power wishes to re-draft as a rookie on December 1.
Tom Logan retired at the end of 2015, while Sam Russell was delisted.
