BRENDON Ah Chee’s breakout game for Port Adelaide has been recognised by the supporters, the midfielder judged best afield in the Wok in a Box Fans’ MVP Award for Round 20.
Ah Chee had 24 disposals, five tackles and three goals, his much talked about game bringing the midfielder his first ever votes in the Fans’ MVP Award.

Fans cast 3,2,1 votes online each week at fansmvp.portadelaidefc.com.au and these votes are then scaled to award five votes to the player with the most votes in that round, four votes to the player with the second-most votes and so on.
Robbie Gray continued his brilliant season, gathering a team high 26 disposals and kicking one goal to poll four votes, while fellow frontrunner Chad Wingard was awarded three votes, polling votes for the tenth week in a row.
The remaining vote getters were Hamish Hartlett (two) and Patrick Ryder (one).

With three rounds remaining Robbie Gray has one hand on the Fans’ MVP Award with 47 votes, but trailing on 40 votes is Travis Boak and Chad Wingard who can still catch him with some big individual games.

After the Magpies Round 17 clash against Glenelg, Ben Sawford has been voted the Fans’ best in Friday nights thrilling one point win.
Sawford finished the night with 40 disposals, 14 clearances, six tackles, nine inside 50’s and four goals in what was undoubtedly his best game for Port Adelaide in the SANFL.
In his first run for the Magpies this year Matthew Lobbe was awarded four votes, dominating the ruck with 64 hit outs and six clearances.
The remaining players to poll votes were Steven Summerton (three), Aaron Young (two), and Jack Haarsma (one) with Summerton retaining the overall lead in the Magpies Fans’ MVP.
