PortAdelaideFC.com.au takes a look at the players who are in line to come in for both teams.

Port Adelaide

Cameron Hitchcock's injury opens the door for a small forward to enter the fray on Sunday. Both Simon Phillips and Brett Ebert will be pressing their claims at training today.

Phillips was quiet on the weekend with just four possessions for the Redlegs, but his nous around goals could be exactly the tonic the selection committee is looking for to compliment the tall timber up forward.

Meanwhile, Ebert had an influence in a losing side for the Magpies against West Adelaide. Coming off a five-goal haul against the Panthers, Ebert racked up 17 touches and 7 clearances, as well as taking a huge screamer over teammate Daniel Webb.

The decision on which forward to bring in could be influenced by the fitness of Jay Schulz, who is battling to prove his fitness on the back of an eye injury. Schulz's inclusion would give the Power four tall options up forward and could mean Jarrad Redden is unable to force his way back into the side, following a successful return to the Eagles on the weekend.

Senior coach Matt Primus is also likely to consider midfielders Matt Thomas (22 touches and 9 clearances for Norwood) and SANFL Player of the Week Andrew Moore (21 disposals and 4 tackles for North) as he tries to beef up a midfield that was beaten by Richmond in Round 6.

The Power trains today at Alberton.

Fremantle

As reported earlier in the week on PortAdelaideFC.com.au, Ross Lyon is confident giant ruckman Aaron Sandilands will be fit to play in Round 7, having missed the previous two weeks with a calf injury.

According to the coach, Sandilands need only get through training today to prove his fitness. While Lyon hinted at the possibility of playing three ruckman, it's likely Sandilands will come in at the expense of Jonathan Griffin.

Lyon also suggested young forward midfielder Hayden Crozier may be an outside chance of making his AFL debut.

"There were some great performances for us in the WAFL, in particular young Hayden Crozier, who had seven shots on goal," Lyon said.

"There's a few around the edges who we'll have a look at."

Anthony Morabito (hamstring), Nick Lower (quad) and Kepler Bradley (leg) all face fitness tests today, with the trio all a possibility to return to the Fremantle line-up. It's likely, however, they'd make their return through the WAFL.

Fremantle trains at Patersons Stadium today.

The teams will be announced at 5.55pm (SA time) this afternoon and you can see them first here.
