MATT White will return from a groin injury against the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.

He replaces Kane Mitchell in the only change to the Power side that lost to Sydney last week.

White injects pace and goal scoring ability to a forward line looking to turn around several lean weeks on the scoreboard.

"[White] has had a really good year in his first year at the club for us," says senior coach Ken Hinkley.

"We certainly did miss him [over the past few weeks]."

The Power coach is looking for his side to bounce back after a good showing against the premiership favourites Sydney.

"I'd like to see us build a little bit on that, as we always say the scoreboard's not the end result - it's the product of what we bring to the table.

"I think we've probably been starting to build it back over the last few weeks."

Mitchell will come into the Magpies line-up looking to secure the minor premiership with a win over Norwood on Sunday.

That won’t be easy against the in-form Redlegs, themselves sitting in second position on the ladder and chasing a big scalp against Port Adelaide at Alberton.

Aaron Young will return from a foot injury with the Magpies, injecting crucial leg speed into the black-and-white for Sunday.

John Butcher will also play his first game since recovering from a bout of viral meningitis that kept him out of losses against South and Central District.

Anthony Biemans will miss the game against Norwood with soreness, while Jake Johansen and Sam Gordon have been omitted.
