Free Friday night footy at Alberton
Port Adelaide's final SANFL trial game has been rescheduled to Friday 28 March, with entry free to see the Magpies host to Roosters at Alberton Oval.
Originally scheduled for Saturday 29th, the Magpies-Roosters League clash has been reprogrammed for Friday night under lights at Alberton, starting at 6:00pm.
As an officially sanctioned SANFL trial game, entry to the match will be free, giving Port Adelaide's faithful its only taste of nighttime football at the club's home ground for 2014.
It will serve as an entertaining - and affordable - night out for Port Adelaide supporters ahead of the club's first home match of the 201 AFL season at the Adelaide Oval the following afternoon.
That match will be against the Crows in the historic first Balfours Showdown at the new home of South Australian football.
Friday night's game precedes the first round of the 2014 SANFL Reserves competition when the Magpies Academy team will take on the North Adelaide reserves at Alberton on Sunday.
The Magpies Under-16 team will open the morning action, ahead of the Under-18s at 12:30pm and the Round 1A of the Academy at 3:15pm.
