In the mix: Preliminary Final
Find out who's in the mix for selection for the Power and Hawks ahead of the Preliminary Final
Tom Jonas is likely to play, despite suffering a corked hip against Freo on Saturday.
The defender will be monitored at training this week but High Performance Manager Darren Burgess was confident he’ll be right to go.
“We’re really positive about his outlook for this week,” Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.
“We’d expect him to get through training and put his hand up for selection again on Thursday.”
If Jonas fails his fitness test, Jarman Impey will come into strong consideration given Hawthorn’s talented small forwards.
Last week’s emergencies Kane Mitchell and Aaron Young are likely to be the only other two players to come into contention.
After a good win in the west, however, don’t expect too many changes at the selection table.

Hawthorn
Cyril Rioli is the hottest name at Hawthorn right now.
Rioli has not played since Round 15 after injuring his hamstring, but seems to have ticked all the boxes in his rehab, including a training session earlier this week.
Should he return, expect him to start as the sub.
Ben McEvoy’s VFL form has been strong and he’s likely to put pressure on Jonathon Ceglar and David Hale.
Defender Matt Suckling is also likely to earn a recall. The big question becomes, who do they replace?
A strong win over Geelong means any changes means there will be some very unlucky Hawks missing out.
