Irishman's return confirmed
Daniel Flynn will return to Port Adelaide next week, the club has confirmed.
The club has confirmed Flynn, 20, will return to Alberton Oval after a two-month absence, where he will recommence training with the club.
Flynn took leave from his first pre-season with the Power to be with family in Ireland at the end of February.
Port Adelaide's general manager of football Peter Rohde said Flynn's return had been supported by his family and the club was looking forward to having the Irishman back.
"Daniel's obviously very close to his family and they've been very supportive of him coming back to Port Adelaide," Rohde told portadelaidefc.com.au.
"We know the players will welcome him back and we'll work to make sure he settles back into life here in Adelaide.
"He'll start training again when he comes back, but it would be a few weeks before he starts playing.
"He's all booked in to arrive next week and from there we'll go through the process of getting him back into the football program here."
