JAY Schulz has been reported for striking Richmond's Alex Rance, while Jarrad Redden has been cleared by the Match Review Panel for any wrongdoing after contact between he and Shane Tuck.

Schulz's strike on Rance in the first quarter of Saturday's game was deemed as intentional, low impact and body contact, which draws 125 demerit points and a one-match suspension.

However, he can accept a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record with an early guilty plea.

The club will consider its position overnight.

Meanwhile, the MRP found Redden had no case to answer for his contact with Tuck. The MRP stated "Tuck had been cleared by club medical staff and continued to play after Redden contact, therefore Redden's actions do not constitute contact with an injured player."

Redden is free to play against Carlton at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
