THE AFL has confirmed Port Adelaide's Round 23 fixture against Carlton, with the Power set to host the Blues in a Saturday Twilight fixture at AAMI Stadium.

The final ever home-and-away game at the current home of football in South Australia will take place on Saturday 31 August, commencing at 4:10pm (ACST).

As with previous seasons, the AFL maintained a 'floating fixture' for the final minor round of 2013, ensuring that the majority of sides in contention to finish inside the top eight would play by the Saturday night of the round.

Port Adelaide will wear its traditional prison bar guernsey in the match against Carlton in an acknowledgement to the club's 13 SANFL League premierships it has won at the ground since it was constructed in 1973 as 'Football Park'.

The 'farewell' game promises to be one of the biggest matches at the ground this year.

Port Adelaide hosted Collingwood in the corresponding timeslot in Round 14, with 31,121 fans turning out to watch the Power run out 35-point winners.

The club will confirm further information, including ticketing availability, in the coming weeks.
