Port Adelaide will be back to its intimidating dual ruck set-up for Saturday afternoon’s clash with Richmond after naming Dean Brogan in its 22 on Thursday night.

Brogan has been sidelined since spraining his ankle in the Round 3 Showdown loss.

He started the year in close to career-best form, including being largely responsible for turning the game against Fremantle in Round 1, and will be a welcome addition to the Power side.

Kane Cornes has been passed fit after copping a heavy knock from a Byron Pickett tackle in the final term of Sunday’s win over Melbourne.

There wasn’t such good news for the Power’s other injured players.

Steven Salopek will require a second week on the sidelines with his hamstring, and the foot Troy Chaplin injured in the last term of Sunday’s game will force him to miss at least one week.

Brogan’s return will accentuate the Power’s perceived ruck dominance over the Tigers who will be missing the top three ruckmen on their list - Troy Simmonds (ankle), Trent Knobel (ankle) and Ray Hall (hip).

There are reports that key forward Matthew Richardson will be asked to ruck in their absence.

The Power will wear a special, once-only guernsey for the clash with the Tigers. The guernsey, fitting with the day’s theme of Kids Day Out, has been designed by 11-year-old Troy Andrews, who won a competition run by the Power and the Come Out Arts Festival.

If you’re going to the game (or thinking about going), make sure you check the Power website’s Match Day section for everything that’s going on at the game including a notice about potential traffic delays.
