JAY Schulz will return to the Port Adelaide lineup this weekend capping off an amazing recovery from a serious abdominal injury six weeks ago.
Schulz was injured during a mid air collision with teammate Justin Westhoff against the Bulldogs and has missed the last five Port Adelaide games.
His teammate Hamish Hartlett injured his hamstring in the same match and will be named to play against the GWS Giants.
"[He will be named] if he gets through today but he was training fully last week and got through no worries so I see no reason why he wouldn't be able to get through," said Primus.
"He's a real competitor in the way he goes about his footy ... as soon as he got the all-clear from the doc last week he's really set himself to play.
"He's been cleared medically no worries at all."
Schulz remains Port Adelaide's leading goal kicker in 2012 and will join his teammates in a closed training session at Alberton on Wednesday ahead of team selection on Thursday evening.
