Michael Wilson will front up against the Brisbane Lions in two weeks time after accepting a reprimand from the AFL tribunal.

Wilson's penalty was helped by having a five-year good record.

The AFL match review panel assessed the match day report against Wilson for striking Henry Slattery in Sunday’s win over Essendon as follows...

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing a total of 125 demerit points and a one match sanction. He has an existing five-year good record which reduces his penalty by 25 percent to 93.75 points. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 percent to 70.31 demerit points and a reprimand.

Port Adelaide and Wilson decided to accept the offered reprimand on Monday evening.

Wilson has been in some of the best form of his career in 2007 despite missing five weeks through the middle of the season with a torn chest muscle.

Meanwhile, Essendon ruckman David Hille faces a one-game ban after being reported for engaging in rough conduct against the Power's Chad Cornes.

The AFL match review panel assessed that one as follows...
