Lobbe has quickly recovered from pre-season hip surgery and has performed well for West Adelaide in the SANFL.
If selected along with regular ruck features Jarrad Redden and Brent Renouf, it would be the first time the Power has played three rucks for many years.
Port Adelaide Coaching Assistant Ryan McMillan said that Lobbe’s form has been considerable for the last few weeks.
“Lobbe has been in pretty good in the last three or four weeks in the SANFL, obviously he had a long time off with a shoulder injury and he’s been pretty competitive in the ruck and can play a bit forward as well,” he said.
Logan has been classy for Glenelg in the last few weeks - netting the Power development team’s SANFL Player of the Week mantle two rounds in a row.
“I think Tommy’s averaged 25 possession in the last couple of weeks so he’s been going pretty good,” said McMillan.
“He gives us a bit of flexibility, he can play forward in a similar role that Matty Thomas can, he can also go down back.
“So he certainly gives us that flexibility through there.”
Port Adelaide will name its final team on Friday at 4pm.
