Strength Coach at the Port Adelaide Football Club

The Port Adelaide Football Club is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Strength Coach to join our AFL Football department.
 
Main roles and responsibilities will include:
  • Design and implementation of individual/group strength and gym-based conditioning sessions
  • Assisting in design and implementation of conditioning sessions
  • Assisting the medical/rehab staff with individual/group rehabilitation sessions
  • Formulation of injury reduction programs for all players.
 
The successful applicant will:
  • Be qualified to degree level in strength and conditioning or equivalent
  • Preferably have ASCA accreditation or equivalent
  • Have experience working within an elite sporting organisation
  • Be available to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)
  • Be an organised individual with good communication skills
  • Be computer literate with specific competencies in Strength program monitoring
  • Be competent in the use of specific strength technology (BMS, Woodway & GymAware)
