Port Adelaide members are being encouraged to take advantage of free match access and parking to the Power's upcoming NAB Cup Clash against Melbourne at AAMI Stadium this Friday night.

There will be no match telecast of the game provided and with the match to be played on a regulation oval under normal match conditions, the Club is encouraging all Port Adelaide supporters to get out to the game.

The AFL has confirmed that all ticketed competing Club and AFL members will be given free access to the match, ensuring that all home match Power members can watch the match in unreserved General Admission seating.

Existing members need only scan their member card in the gates for General Admission access, whilst new members without their cards can report to the southern entrance information booth to gain access via the Club's door list.

With light morning showers expected to clear into mild conditions, it should be an excellent night to watch the Power's final pre-season hit out.

Senior coach Matthew Primus welcomed the opportunity to play at the Power's home ground.

"We'd like to have a good hit-out on a full AFL ground. That's be pretty important to us."

Primus said he is expecting to play close to a full strength side under the standard rules that will apply throughout the premiership season.

Rules that have been trialled in the NAB Cup will not apply and the bench system will revert to three on the interchange and one substitute.

"We'll get to trial everything exactly like Round 1 will be," Primus said.
