Tyrepower has been the club’s official Coaches Partner since 2018.

THE Port Adelaide Football Club is proud to announce that Tyrepower has elected to upgrade and extended its partnership with the club until the end of 2023.

Tyrepower first partnered with Port Adelaide in 2014, and has since continued to offer great discounts, quality products and first-class service to the club’s members, staff and players.

Since 2018 the company has been the club’s official Coaches Partner - a relationship that will continue under the extended partnership.

Port Adelaide Chief Executive Matthew Richardson thanked Tyrepower for its ongoing support, particularly in the current economic climate.

“Tyrepower is the largest independent tyre retailer in Australasia and an organisation which has strong values that very much align with those of the Port Adelaide Football Club,” Mr Richardson said.

“At Port Adelaide we are committed to building deep and multi-faceted relationships with our partners, and for Tyrepower to not only commit but to further strengthen our partnership through the challenges that 2020 and COVID-19 presented everyone is testament to that.

“The Port Adelaide community is highly engaged in supporting our partners and this extension with Tyrepower ensures we continue to build strong momentum into 2021 and beyond. Tyrepower and Port Adelaide both have bold growth ambitions and we look forward to supporting Tyrepower in growing their business and brand as they help us in chasing our ambitions.”

Tyrepower General Manager Richard Ellery said he was excited to extend the existing agreement until the end of the 2023 season.

“Our long-term partnership over seven seasons has grown to be much more than just a branding exercise,” Mr Ellery said.

“Tyrepower, our Dealer Network and the Port Adelaide Football Club have become entrenched in each other’s values and businesses and we are thrilled to continue our journey together for a further three years.”

The Tyrepower Group was formed in 1977 by ten independent tyre retailers to offer consumers the flexibility, savings and service of an independent dealer network.

The company has since grown to be the largest independent tyre retailer in Australasia and operates in all states and territories, with over 290 stores nationally.

As part of the ongoing agreement, the Tyrepower logo will continue to feature on the Port Adelaide coaching staff polo shirts and jackets, as well as feature prominently in the coaches boxes in Adelaide and stadiums interstate.
