Jeremy Finlayson landed at Alberton ahead of the 2022 season, providing great flexibility to Port Adelaide’s side.
Playing predominantly as a forward, Finlayson is known for his goalkicking ability and consistency to get on the scoreboard. His ruck skill, and importantly, his ability to follow up the ball at ground level, makes him a unique threat in the ruck contest - which adds an extremely valuable element to his game.
2024 was an interrupted year for Finlayson, who managed 12 games before being ruled out for the season with a spleen injury. Signing a one-year extension and having proven to be an important piece when called upon, Finlayson will continue to put in the work in 2025.
Club Honours
- Port Adelaide leading goalkicker (2023)
- Giants NEAFL Kevin Sheedy medallist (2016)

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
